Assignment #2: WEDNESDAY

Now, you've read through Chapter 6 in The Giver. You should now complete the following tasks:

1. Do the vocabulary assignment on PAGE 18 in your packets. This will take you through the next few chapters in the book. You should do this in the form of a post on your blog.

2. Then, read chapters 7 and 8 in The Giver.

3. When you are done reading those chapters, post the questions that you have about those chapters on your blog.

4. After you post your vocab assignment, read chapters 7 and 8, and write questions you have about chapters 7 and 8, make a comment in this post, telling me that you're done. You might also go make comments on your classmates' blogs. Remember that I will be reading everything you post, so keep it appropriate and be respectful to one another. I will show NO TOLERANCE for bullying or unkindness of any sort!

5. When you are done with 1-4, you may work on enhancing your blog. You may change the template, add links, pictures, or videos. You should make certain that everything you include on your blog is appropriate for school. Eventually, we will invite Principal Shepard to read these blogs, and possible even Dr. Chevalier.
